By far, the most challenging part of this project has been the graphics design. It’s not easy mostly because I’m not extensively artsy. I know good art when I see it, and I can appreciate good art, be it music, visual arts, dramatic arts, etc. But time and again, when I go to write a song, or a play, or a novel, it’s just a bit sub-par. I’m just not that good at creating art. So, that’s why the graphics design has been a challenge. I’m learning a lot, and I think I can do it, but it’s going to take time.
Here’s a quick peek at the slingshot plastics I designed. I love it. The Mythical Shoes with a bit of denim texture and the blue/white contrast seem to bespeak a bit of the urban, hipster, child of the Internet qualities that Rhett&Link always seemed to possess and represent to me.
